Tryouts for the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 Seasons
Player placement tryouts for U10, U12, and U14 boy and girl players will be held at McGrath Park the week of June 7th. The schedule is as follows:

All sessions will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Players must wear cleats, shin pads, and stockings, and must bring a water bottle and soccer ball labeled with the player name.

Players must be registered to play in SYS for the Fall 2010 season prior to participating in tryouts. Registration information and forms can be found on the SYS web site: www.witchcitysoccer.org

We strongly encourage players to register prior to their scheduled session. Players who have registered prior to their scheduled session should arrive at 5:45pm, ready to play.

Player ratings from tryouts, along with assessments from current coaches and age group directors, are used to assign players to teams that will play at levels that are developmentally appropriate for the individual players. Tryouts enable Salem Youth Soccer to create and submit team rosters for play in the Essex County Youth Soccer Association, so it is very important for all players who wish to play to register and participate in tryouts. Tryouts are also an important part of the development of the player, and can be fun as well as instructive.
